In the Netherlands, scaffolding wood is one of the most popular types of wood for the garden or indoors. The wood is often used for tables, chairs, garden benches, beds or planters. Scaffolding wood, or spruce wood, is a soft wood that is primarily used for scaffolding in construction. The wood is characterized by its rough appearance and long fibers. These long fibers make the wood flexible and therefore very suitable for making furniture. In order to keep scaffolding wood looking good, it is important to treat the wood well.
Why use a nano coating?
Scaffolding wood is very sensitive to the influence of moisture and temperature differences. Untreated scaffolding wood has a tendency to quickly gray or warp due to moisture and other influences. That is why it is important to protect the wood in order to maintain the original appearance. Treated scaffolding wood does not suffer from aging, discoloration from the sun, dirt, fungi or algae. In addition, you can also treat indoor scaffolding wood to prevent stains or circles in your furniture. The nano coating dries colorlessly and does not change the appearance of your furniture. For indoor and outdoor furniture you can extend the lifespan and ensure that furniture looks its best for years to come. The Care 102 is a durable water-based product that will protect your wood against external influences for up to 2 years. Moisture will no longer be absorbed into the wood, which means that it offers much longer protection than other products.
Another advantage of our nano coating is that scaffolding wood retains its natural appearance. The transparent protective layer does not change the color of the wood. Unlike other protectors on the market, which do change the original color. For example oil, which often gives wood a darker appearance. Stain gives the wood an opaque or semi-transparent finish. The best product with which you want to protect your wood depends on the appearance you want to achieve.
